This morning’s meditation was influenced by the final chapter of Sharon Blackie’s book, Hagitude: Reimagining the Second Half of Life, where she talks about purpose and the call to fulfill our soul’s “destiny” or sharing of our gifts. My writing meditation revealed I didn’t come here to stay small and safe, but to offer the upwelling of my hot, red “Queen blood” in service to Gaia and the wellness of all being.
Note: I use a meditative journaling process called CREATE!, developed by my friend and colleague, Joanne Lee. The first sentence is a “seed crystal,” and is usually drawn from a line in a poem. The rest of the words are allowed to slowly, organically emerge in a meditative state.
The first line in today’s Incantation comes from a poem called “The Roar” by Kirstin Eventyr, in her new book of poems, Calamity’s Compass. I recently conducted a Queen Interview with Kirstin - you can check it out on my Substack podcast, or on my YouTube channel.
